About the Film Chase (Dan Caudill), a college student, is always fed up with society. He's never without a topic he can't gripe about. Not that Chase is a model citizen himself, as he spends more time selling pot on the corner with his friend Hampton (Dave Carr) than he does in class. He's just not ready to be "enslaved by the corporate world." But when Chase's younger sister, Laura (Melissa DaPonte), is pawned off on him to spend the day, Chase soon realizes that he's not any better than the world he dispises. Blame Society is a 30 minute comedy shot on digital video. It is the directorial debut of Michael D Friedman, who also wrote the script, and was produced mainly by members of the Atlanta Screenwriters Group. |
